Early Years in Lacemaking is the new name for Young Lacemakers (YLM)
Due to Coronavirus restrictions, please note
the classes are cancelled until further notice.
Whether you are under 18 or over, it doesn’t matter – you can get involved. We are keen to support beginners by providing:
- classes for young people up to the age of 18 – tutoring in the basic skills. This takes place fortnightly (during term time) at Waitrose Community Centre, 38 Comely Bank Road, Edinburgh EH4 1AW
- a chance for adult learners interested in learning to ‘come and try’
- patterns for the level required and/or a video of ‘basic stitches’
- the loan of lace pillows and associated equipment
Plus we have our YLM Gallery (above) to showcase items produced by our beginners.
